Maria Doreuli is a creative director at Contrast Foundry, an independent studio that specializes in creating unique typographic voices. When she’s not sketching and drawing type at the studio, she is running various workshops and teaching.
Greg Gazdowicz (b. 1988) hails from the suburbs of Gaithersburg, Maryland. He escaped to study at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where he found his deep passion for graphic design, type design, and cycling. Greg has worked as a graphic designer at branding studios, start-ups and non-profits before working in the field of typeface design, and he completed the Type@Cooper Extended program in 2014.
Laura Meseguer is a freelance designer, typographer and lype designer. Her activity is developed in the field of commercial work and personal projects. She specializes in any kind of project based on typography, from lettering for monograms and logotypes to custom typefaces and book design.In 2003-2004, she took a year off from her regular work to study type design at the post-graduate course 'TypeJMedia' at the KABK in The Hague. In addition to her practice, Laura has been teaching Type design and Typography in Barcelona, and running workshops and giving talks everywhere.
She is the author of TypoMag. Typography In Magazines and. together with Cristobal Henestrosa and Jose Scaglione, co-author of the book "C6mo crear tipogratias. Delbocetoa la panlalla'published by Tipo e, in Spanish and translated into Polish, Portuguese, English and recently in Chinese. Some of her typefaces like Rumba, Lalola and QanGus, had received the TDC Award. She is a member of Type-0-Tones a digital type foundry, from which she publishes and promotes all her typefaces. Board Member of ATypI since 2017.
Wael Morcos is a graphic designer and type designer from Beirut (Lebanon) and founder of Morcos Key, a Brooklyn (USA) based studio. At Morcos Key he leads projects with arts & cultural institutions, non-profits, and commercial enterprises in North America and the Middle East. Wael has been featured in Print Magazine’s 15 under 30, was named a Young Gun by the Art Directors Club and an Ascender by the Type Directors Club.
